NBR Rubber gaskets - gaskets made of oil-resistant NBR Nitrile rubber
NBR gaskets are made of a rubber also known as Buna-N, which is the most widely used elastomer for seals and gaskets. Its properties provide superior resistance to petroleum-based fluids, hydraulic fluids, gasoline, alkalis and acids. Nitrile is the polymer of choice for applications requiring oil and solvent resistance. We fabricate die cut nitrile NBR gaskets in a wide variety of grades, thicknesses and hardness.
Nitrile rubbers hardness (durometer) generally ranges from 30 to 90 durometer, Shore A. Die-cut nitrile gaskets are black in color however our FDA (Food Grade) nitrile gaskets are also offered in white. Nitrile gaskets are available with or without pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing. We typically stock Nitrile Rubber with thickness ranging from 1 to 10 mm and can deliver on request up to 50 mm
Available Nitrile Grades
Commercial Grade Nitrile (Buna-N) gaskets
Mid Grade Nitrile gaskets
High-Grade Premium Nitrile (Buna-N) gaskets
FDA White Nitrile (Buna-N) gaskets
Transformer Oil Nitrile (Buna-N) gaskets
Bio-Diesel Nitrile (Buna-N) gaskets
Nitrile (Buna-N) Sponge gaskets
NBR (oil-resistant rubber) exhibits excellent impact strength, high tensile strength, oil resistance, heat resistance, and sustains flexibility at lower temperatures. We fabricate die-cut NBR gaskets in a wide variety of grades, thicknesses, and hardness. NBR rubber gasket usually come in hardness (durometer) of typically 75A durometer however our commercial-grade ranges from 40 to 80 durometer, Shore A.
Die cut NBR gaskets are generally black in color. NBR gaskets are available with or without pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing. We typically stock SBR Rubber with thickness ranging from 1 to 10 mm
Available NBR Grades
Commercial Grade NBR gaskets
Premium Grade NBR gaskets
Specification Grade NBR gaskets (White, Blue or Black)
Nylon Inserted NBR gaskets
Applications: Flange gaskets for oil-resistant applications
Hardness by Shore A: 70 Shore A standard
Resistance to: Mineral oils. NBR provides particularly good results with hydraulic oils, grease, diesel fuels plus other aliphatic hydrocarbons, diluted acids and alkaline solutions.
What´s more, NBR also demonstrates good physical values, e. g. high resistance to abrasion, high stability and favorable temperature resistance.
Pneumatic and hydraulic applications or gas supply
Thickness: from 1 - 10 mm
