PTFE Glass + Graphite Filled Rods
These rods are made of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) filled with glass / graphite. The mixture of both fillers allows resistance against soft metals a creates a chemically inert alloy with outstanding wear characteristics.
At both sides of the temperature scale - both for high and low temperatures, deformation under stress is also decreased. The PTFE Glass and graphite filled rods are an outstanding self-lubricating bearing material with poor friction characteristics.
Key benefits: Chemically inert, Excellent wear strength, Low load deformation, Low friction self-lubricating
Applications: Slide bearings, Piston seal, wear rings (pumps) seals
